Abhishek Sharma initiated The Abhishek Doctrine with a belief that understanding global events shouldn't be an example for just those who have a designated title or who hold a specific position in an organisation; therefore most discussions or description of Geopolitical events related to India’s growth tend to be too intricate, scholarly or infused with biased views. From his perspective, there’s a void; a marked void between how events are occurring in reality as opposed to how an Indian citizen perceives global events; that can only be offered through a platform that would bridge that void and articulate clearly, comprehensively and definitively how that affects India and India’s growth story.
Abhishek’s desired outcome from establishing a platform is to encourage Indian citizens to become more involved in geopolitical discussions and understand why geopolitical issues are so important to the Indian people’s growth and advancement as a nation, i.e., why are these events, both political and economic, important and what response actions can an Indian citizen take towards these events, either alone or collectively. Abhishek's vision has always been to utilise his background in research, strategic insight, and storytelling to generate quality content that represents a balanced approach while remaining fun and informative.
Abhishek’s driving force in developing The Abhishek Doctrine is to remain curious, responsible and create a collaborative knowledge-based environment. As such, he considers all episodes, discussions and articles published under the umbrella of The Abhishek Doctrine to adhere to the core principles of transparency, clarity, depth and balance with the ultimate goal of helping Indian citizens to engage more constructively with their own progress and defence strategies in relation to the world in which they live.
